41' Stormalong

Stormalong or "Stormy" as we like to call her is a prime example of a 41 foot Morgan Out Island sailboat with a ketch rig.  Stormalong was the very first vessel acquired by Calen Yachts and has helped us create more memories on the water than in even fathomable.

41' Endeavour

Endeavour is a great family sailing yacht. Up front she has 3 bunks in the forward berth. Along with plenty of extra space around the table in the salon (Landlubbers living room).  Endeavour is a sloop rigged sailboat, for that classic sailing experience.

41' Midnight Dragon

Midnight Dragon is yet another prime example of a 41 food Morgan Out Island sailboat. Midnight Dragon has a tall ketch rig, to get as much sail area as possible. With a single large bunk in the forward berth and spacious closet, cruising the Gulf of Mexico has never been better.

Captain Chris Jennett

Chris is the founder of Calen Yachts. Investing in his first sailboat at the young age of 19! He has been on the water since before he could walk and gained a lifetime of experience with our dock neighbors Windsong Charters. Chris started at Windsong when he was 13 years old, on the weekends when he didn't have homework and over the summertime fueling up and cleaning boats of all different sizes and shapes.

Captain Josh Barnett

Josh is at home when he's on the water. Josh is an avid fisherman. Some of his favorite hobbies include creating culinary masterpieces, specifically made from organic and grass fed ingredients, He also enjoys LBSF (Land Based Shark Fishing) amongst other hobbies. If you're looking for an unforgettable experience with a judgment free captain, look no further than Josh. Josh started his career in commercial fishing, although he still loves to fish he couldn't help but be attracted to the calming, relaxing sensation of sailing. Josh loves being aboard any boat with sails. But when asked about his favorite he always answers with one word: Endeavour.

Captain Mike Raspanti

Mike loves to fish! Mike has been a licensed captain since 2009. Mike is a local Florida native, highly knowledgeable in fishing, diving and navigation in all body's of water. Mike loves the water, he is our go to guy for boat deliveries and fishing tournaments. His very Down to earth, easy going personality makes the trip that much more relaxing. Mike is also not afraid to teach the tricks of the trade. More then half his life has been on the water, it's his passion. Captain Mike will show you the Calen Yachts motto of how to truly experience life! Mike is at home when he is in Key West or aboard his favorite vessel, the Midnight Dragon.

Captain Brett Freeman

Brett is Calen's youngest captain. Brett earned his captains license when he was just 18 years old. He lives in Tennessee and frequents New Port Richey to have fun with our guests on our multi-day charters. Brett has spent the past few summers sailing the surrounding waters of Key West and Islamorada. Brett is very energetic and great with kids.

First Stewardess & Deckhand Sarah Jennett

Sarah is an adventurous Florida local. She is very knowledgeable on the water with her abilities to scuba dive, sail, and fish. She is PADI certified in advanced diving and rescue diving. Sarah has instructed many new sailors on sailing Marlow-Hunter 18 sailboats. She also is familiar with rigging fishing poles and scouting out areas to fish.

Sarah loves to continually keep the yachts clean and tidy. Her attention to detail helps our fleet stand out above the rest. Sarah always strives to give our guests the most hospitable and best quality journey through her deckhand work, cooking, and personable attitude. 

Captain Brennan Peabody

Brennan has been on the water so long he literally can't remember the first time he was on a boat.  Brennan grew up just outside of Atlanta Georgia, an unlikely place to be for such a water freak. Brennan quickly heard the sound of the ocean calling him. Brennan served as a mate on a tall ship down in Key West for a few years before gaining the experience and knowledge he needed to apply for his captains license.

Captain Nate Lemar

Nate has live in the Florida Keys for the past few years. Sailing back and fourth between Key Largo and Key West, Nate knows the coral reefs and the backwater like the back of his hand. Nate loves Morgan sailboats so much that he recently purchased his only 41' Morgan "Trade Winds" and lives aboard year round. Nate enjoys sailing to our nearby islands and enjoying the food an scenery on our island beach BBQ's.
