Chris Jennett is a captain, DJ, pilot, minister, photographer, strategic advisor, entrepreneur, keynote speaker, and philanthropist. He is the director of Calen Yachts, a successful sailing charter company operating from New Port Richey FL & Islamorada FL. He has his airline transport pilots license and aspires to one day open a flight school. Chris is a wonderful husband to Chelsea Jennett.

He started his career at just 13 years old. Spring of 2005 he was observed docking a boat at a local marina. That marina was home to a then small mom and pop boat rental outfit. The owners were impressed with his boat handling skills and asked if he had a job. He replied, "Well no, I'm only 14 years old". The owners asked if he wanted a job cleaning a refueling boats on the weekends and during the summer. Over ten years later he is still affiliated with the now booming charter and boat rental company Windsong Charters. While working at Windsong he quickly learned and went from cleaning boats to answering phones and writing contracts. When he was just 17 years old he took classes to earn his captains license. Upon turning 18 he took and passed his USCG captains license exam and officially became a licensed captain. With his new license he was quickly working on sailing charters and boat deliveries. In no time at all he was able to purchase his very own sailboat, a 41 foot Morgan out island ketch "Stormalong". Stormalong quickly became his home and that first summer he sailed her from New Port Richey to Islamorada to assist the Boy Scouts of America with a summer camp they operate called Florida Sea Base. The camp provides youth with an opportunity to snorkel coral reefs, learn how to sail and catch some fish for the grill. After a couple summers spent teaching kids to sail he realized this was a real passion and acquired two more sailboats "Endeavour" and "Midnight Dragon". These additional vessels allowed him to serve even more youth and prompted the founding of Calen Yachts, a sailing charter company offering overnight sailing charters in the Gulf of Mexico.

In the off season he had taken an interest in flying. In between his early summers at the Florida Sea Base he achieved his dream of becoming a commercial pilot. He then spent the cooler months flying around the country building hours and upgrading his license.

His mission is to create things, fix problems and help others. Whenever technology can help to do these three things, he enjoys figuring out that intersection and adding constructive value. He is seduced by technology ecosystems globally and works to support entrepreneurs to scale their work and impact.
